Clunking of ice cubes in half a glass of coke
Warm tickling sunlight on my hands

Crackling of fallen leaves under my foot

Some random thoughts..

Magic of the night,

Perched on a tree top,

Waiting,

Lingering along the corners of darkness,

Waiting to capture a suitable prey,

And there I come strolling,

Unaware and assuming,

Lost in thought,

About inane details of a mundane existence,

Completely oblivious,

Of the wanderer lurking in the shadows,

Walking by,

Like as an afterthought,

I look up,

My stare meets the magician’s gaze,

And there I am struck,

An unarmed and defenseless me,

My hypnotized eyes close,

On opening,

Finding themselves in an unknown terrain,

Panic!!!!

Seek to run!!!!

My eyes widen in fear,

Slowly opening upto my new companions,

Sweet, dulcet sounds of birds chirping,

Dazzling brightness,

Of stars above,

Mesmerizing beauty,

Of ‘orchids’ and ‘forget me nots’,

Of ‘roses’ and ‘lilies’,

A sudden haze of colour,

And I am drunk on the heady wine of what I see,

I am embraced,

By a majestic waterfall,

And am engulfed,

In its sheer power,

The blowing wind,

Along with all its allies,

Baptize me,

Welcome me,

Into this New World,

I am betrothed instantaneously,

To this magical night,

As dawn breaks,

I come,

A visitor,

An insane poet,

Wandering along the streets of your world,

As the hand of the night ticks ‘9’,

The magic of the night and I,

Perched on a tree top,

Waiting,

Lingering along the corners of darkness,

The destiny turned me away
And threw me in this lonesome place
Away from home, from you, from everyone
I walk the streets wildly
Searching your face in every face

The day denies to begin
The night denies to end
Haunting me with your insisting memories
Which stimulate me to run back

With the two eyes open
Searching a glimpse of you in wild darkness
And tears draining down
Into an unknown destination

But in my heart is a steel objective
An objective not to achieve you
But to achieve something for which I have left everyone
Nevertheless, I feel your presence
Every moment in my life
Cause you have merged with my soul, my blood, my breathe

Without you I am nothing
More than a walking stone
That a breathe goes in
And forgets to come out
The eyelids forget to close
The heart’s confused
Whether to beat or not

like drops of diamonds on your cheeks.
or maybe its b’cuz i like to see you vulnerable,
maybe cuz it gives me a chance to hold you tight,
squirming in my arms sobbing your heart out.

Rain Drops

Rain drops are moments in time
each one drops for the time
depending on how u have paced ur life
joys n sorrows,the ifs and what nots
the hads and had been
the shriveling and the bygones
the tastes and feelings acquired
on this journey
If its falling on plantation or the tarmac
depends on how u’ve lived ur life
If they are intermitent or infinite
Large small or a mist
and more over how u r feeling
Satisfyed or sumfing amiss
what sounds r they emitting
and what is ur decipher code
they r falling on dry leaves or twigs or on the patio
on the window pane
do u c them in the background of passing headlights
and the strenght,if u r driving or they
Who is controling the show
What time of year day ,spring summer winter or….
Morning of another day
or end of another day
whats the joy or the agony
wud u wish to have a remote control
to change the scene
or its kewl with u
What does it do
stuff u or make u relax
